Willie, C.V.T. – Veterinary Technician Manager
Education: Certified Veterinary Technician
Willie is our Veterinary Technician Manager. He received his Certified Veterinary Technician degree from the Veterinary Technology Program in Thomasville, Georgia. While he is an important asset to our hospital, we are proud to share Willie with the United States Armed Forces. Always spreading his smile to those around him, Willie works hard to set a good example for his sweet son, TJ. Willie is always willing to help, and is a wonderful leader for our staff. When he is not at NFAH, or on duty Willie spends time lifting weights, playing football, and caring for his husky mix, Chopper.

Megan has been with NFAH since 2003 and is our Technician and Inventory Manager. Her duties include managing our inventory, vendor relations, and managing work flow throughout the hospital. Megan is married to a wonderful husband, and they have one adorable son. In her spare time, Megan enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach and being outdoors. She two pups “Tripp” and “Girlie,” and three cats, “Frederick”, “Kevin” and “Cori”.
Brittney has been with our hospital since 2011 and wonderful at individualizing patient care. Taking the time to get to know our clients and patients personally, Brittney is adept at identifying personality traits in each pet and using that knowledge to make them most comfortable. Her pets include one sweet orange kitty named “Clyde,” a treat-loving Lab Mix named “Bailey,” and her adopted Boykin Spaniel “Brodie Mae.”
Education: Associates Degree, Florida Firefighter Certificate, Nationally certified EMT
Michael is an experienced technician, who also works for the Tallahassee Fire Department. Michael loves getting to know our clients and working with animals. An avid FSU fan, Michael can usually be found on the water, fishing, or spending time with friends and family. He has one loving spaniel named “Winney Grace.”
Education: Currently attending Florida State University
Cody is a great member to our Veterinary Technician Team. Always interested in science, Cody is currently attending FSU with hopes of having a career in medicine. Cody is always looking for ways to help, and constantly strives to exceed expectations. An outdoors man, Cody enjoys spending time a the beach, surfing, and zip lining. He and his lovely fiancee, Anna have one dog named Luna.
Education: Florida State University, Bachelor’s in Biochemistry
Nic is an outstanding veterinary technician. With a love of medicine, Nic enjoys educating our clients and ensuring the best possible care for critical patients. With hopes to transfer his technical skills and knowledge to human medicine, Nic plans to work in primary care in the future. Prior to graduation Nic also worked at FSU, teaching a lab in Organic Chemistry. He loves music, and can usually be found playing guitar or watching hockey. He has three sweet cats, “Yin,” Yang,” and “Miki.”

We are proud to have Karon as a member of our Veterinary Technician Team. Karon is on the path to becoming a veterinarian. While obtaining experience in the veterinary field, Karon is completing a masters degree in Toxicology to satisfy his love of the laboratory environment. We look forward to helping Karon build the skills and necessary knowledge for a successful career in veterinary medicine. Karon has two loving pit bull terriers, “Kane” and “Frenchy.”

Kellie joined our technician team in 2014 and is pursuing her Veterinary Technology degree. She loves caring for animals and enjoys the hands on experience she will gain while working at NFAH.In her spare time Kellie likes to spend time with her husband and her animals. She also enjoys reading or catching up on her favorite TV shows (Supernatural). Kellie has 3 dogs, Dante, Kane and Bennie; 3 cats, MC, Tigger and Timmie, as well as, 12 chickens and 3 roosters.
Holley joined our staff as our hospital attendant. She is enjoying giving our patients the best possible care while they are visiting with us.Holley plans to graduate from FSU and then attend vet school. She hopes to eventually own her own practice one day. In her spare time she enjoys riding and training horses and spending time with her family and friends. She has one horse, a Mustang named Clyde.
Justin is an enthusiastic member of our team! Often found singing in the halls, or chatting with new people, Justin knows no strangers. With several years of experience, Justin is a great resource for new technicians in training. He enjoys cooking, playing video games, frisbee golf, and tennis. He has one lab/shepherd mix, “Odin”, a bob tailed cat, “Varamyr”, and one albino corn snake named “Dr. Walter Bishop.”
Jamie comes to us with great rehab experience and is really looking forward to providing excellent care for our rehab patients! She studied biology at FSU and moved to Tallahassee in 2016 with her husband after spending 5 years learning all there is to know about rehab. Her future plans include furthering her education and career in Veterinary physical therapy. Jamie enjoys hiking, reading and learning new things about wild animals and rehan. She has a german shepherd, a min pin and 4 rats.
Kaitlyn just joined our veterinary technician team who comes to us with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. Kaitlyn is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in the field of veterinary practice and medicine at NFAH, all the while providing the best care possible to our clients and their fur babies! Her future plans include veterinary school with a specialization in aquatic animals. In her spare time, she enjoys scuba diving, yoga, reading and watching football.
Becky has been a wonderful help here in the hospital taking care of our sick patients! She’s currently working on her BA in Biological Studies. Becky plans to finish her schooling soon and continue her career with animals. In her spare time, she loves to read, spend time with her nephews, and play with her three cats, “Marty”, “Iggy”, and “Penny”.
Deniece is a very hard worker and we are lucky to have her as our hospital attendant. Deniece comes to us with a major in Biology from FSU. Originally from Pensacola, Deniece hopes to one day become a Veterinarian herself! When not providing quality care for our hospitalized patients, she dances in the Tallahassee Ballet Company. Deniece has a shepherd mix named “Webkin” and one beta fish named “Draco”.
Ethan is really looking forward to learning more about the different species of animals while working as a Vet Tech here at NFLAH. Ethan is currently a senior at FSU studying environmental science as well as biology. He is currently deciding whether or not he would like to pursue vet school. He loves playing and watching football, soccer and tennis in his spare time!

We are lucky to be a part of Devyn’s path to becoming a veterinarian! She is eager for the opportunity to learn new skills and further her knowledge in veterinary medicine. When not caring for our patients at NFAH, Devyn enjoys playing acoustic guitar and spending time with her family. Her two cats “Lina” and “Rajah” keep her free time occupied at home.

Theresa is excited to be working in the veterinary field while she completes her online education to become a certified veterinary technician. She looks forward to bonding with each animal and learning their detailed history so that she can understand the best way to help each individual patient. Once certified, Theresa hopes to specialize in exotic animals! “Stinky” is Theresa’s sugarglider.
We are so proud to have Melissa on our Vet Tech Team!Beginning with us as a kennel technician, Melissa has made great efforts to continue learning and growing in her animal care skills. She is currently in the process of attaining a bachelors degree in Psychology, During her spare time, Melissa enjoys volunteering at the shelter, being outdoors with her two dogs, “Oodie” and “Shy”, and spending time with her family and friends. she hopes to one day start her own pet boarding business.
Alex works hard caring for our hospitalized patients as our Hospital Attendant. He is currently attending Florida State University. His goal is to gain experience working with animals.His future plans are to enlist in the United States Navy and become an automotive technician. Alex has two cats and a Yorkshire Terrier.
